A few hours leading around an unfamilar venue that you have started, or intend to fish, is never time wasted.

This video shows that in little over an hour you can, by making a few casts, know basically what lies beneath. Is it weedy, is it deep, what's the shallow end, are there any drop-offs or channels as well as doing a bit of bank craft at the same time to see if any others are fishing it as well?
