We hiked deep into a beautiful tributary of the Cuyahoga River inside Cuyahoga Valley National Park searching for steelhead trout, and somehow ended up hooking into three monster fish.

The journey to the spot was almost as good as the fishing itself. A perfect day, a beautiful hike, clear water, and the kind of hidden creek that makes you feel like you’re about to have the best fishing day of your life.

Unfortunately… we went 0 for 3.

Three hook-ups. Three heartbreaks. Zero fish landed.

That’s Skunk’d.

In this episode, we explore one of the most scenic fishing spots we’ve hit so far, chase steelhead in a Cuyahoga River tributary, and come painfully close to finally breaking the skunk streak.

Subscribe to follow the journey as we keep trying to figure out fly fishing, steelhead, trout, and how to actually land the fish we hook.
