Catching TROUT with a ROOSTER TAIL Spinner...Northern California Coast

In this video after you see me casting a spoon around in the wind, I use my bass fishing skills, to catch some monofilament line that the wind blew over into my casting lane. After retrieving the line, I noticed a ROOSTER TAIL spinner tied on it. Then I proceeded to throw a couple more casts with the spoon. I was reluctant to immediately use the ROOSTER TAIL lure. I haven’t used that brand of spinner-since I was a child, with zero luck. My most productive spinners were always MEPPS (Bud’s makes a cheap copy that works just as well), and BLUE FOX. However, this time was different-first cast, right in the mouth.
