Chasing some steelhead in late spring, didn't think I'd actually connect with one. It was a fresh fish too! I had to battle through the suckers, but in the end it was a trip well worth it. Thanks for watching.

SETUP INFO:
Rod: Redington Path 7WT, 9 Foot
Reel: Orvis Clearwater Large Arbor Reel, Size IV (7-9 WT)
Fly Line: Scientific Anglers Amplitude Textured Anadro Indicator Fly Line
Leader: I tie my own tapered leaders, using Maxima Ultragreen. 20lb butt section, 15lb mid section, 10 lb end section with a tippet ring. Tippet attaches to the tippet ring, anywhere from 6-8lb fluorocarbon.
Flies: I tie my own flies!
