Join me on my journey carp fishing around the canal network of the UK and (hopefully) Europe. My primary focus is carp but I do also like to catch perch and love to catch tench in the summer months. I'll be moving through locations, fishing a range of different areas on a regular basis and will be documenting all significant catches on my journey. Fishing on the Leeds Liverpool canal, especially for big carp, is tricky and you'll see me blank for weeks / months on end at times so I'll need your support along the way. I've been fishing the canal system (alongside another carp syndicate) for the past 5 years and tried a variety of different baits / baiting approaches / strategies but never really felt 'I've cracked the canal code'. I've caught a few big fish along the way and have some adventures planned to unknown area over 2025 so it should be interesting. My intention is to move permanently onto my narrowboat and explore canal systems across the country with a dream to continue my journey into France and beyond in years to come
