this journey began for me roughly three years ago, while I was working on a documentary about ethnic Korean Chinese. I have decided to extract this swimming segment, refine it thoroughly, and rework it into a more polished, standalone production — one that better conveys the immense difficulty and challenges I faced while crossing the river.
