A great feeder fishing tactic at this time of year is fishing with a bomb and PVA bag with pellets. To get the most out of this method, your setup and approach need to be right, so we brought Rob Wootton to Barston Lakes to talk us through the finer details.

Rob talks you through the choice of rods, line, reels and what size bomb/straight lead is his preferred choice and the reasons why. He then shows you how using a bait-up feeder can give you an edge when you need to feed a quantity of bed for the fish to graze over.
