Bobber Fishing For Tarpon.
Was up all night editing a video so instead of going to bed, I decided to do a sunrise run to a basin where a guy had told me a big school of Tarpon had been holding. Things started off bad when I realized I had forgotten my main GoPro. Things got worse when the Sabiki Stick Rod I brought, had all rusted off hooks. I was able to waste some time and got a few Pinfish and put baits out. Surprisingly, I actually hooked into one and had a good fight. Even that went poorly as I was trying to catch bait at the time and my handmade sabiki rig got stuck to my life vest and I couldn't move it out of the way. Surprisingly, I got a few good jumps on film even with having to use the GoPro pole mount. In the end, the unlucky prevaled, and my Circle hook gave up and straightened out. To solidify the crap morning session, I realized when I was loading my car, the new Stake out pole was gone. I had lost another one. I made another run in the evening hoping to find it with the change in current, but no avail. I ordered a new one when I got home.
