This was a once-in-a-lifetime fish. Was targeting steelhead but browns spawn in oct-nov. Since the lake run browns are so rare in Michigan now, I was very happy and surprised to land this monster. Now he safe back in the river to complete his spawning journey and hopefully keep up the population of brown trout in Michigan
