Wheen it comes to April fishing for steelhead, newly stocked smolts in the creek will be over run the creek. This is not looking good trying to catch the big ones here. It does not matter what I use they will tear it apart. These smolts love spawn sacs. They chew it till all eggs break even Kumbo's bait. Nothing is safe with these smolts.
