Affordable Celilo Rods $36 to $86 From UL to XH!

For over a decade Okuma has been supplying budget friendly Celilo Fishing Rods while maintaining quality at a fair market MSRP for their UL to HD rods. The name Celilo refers to an historic Indian Water Fall on the Columbia River pronounced "Suh-LIE-Low". Only now that i'm researching this I found i've been mis-pronouncing this word as "Sea-Lie-Low".

So i'm going to break down my 3 personal Celilo Rods down & explain the build & some componentry. Rods are primarily composed of Graphite Composite Blanks & the newer models incorporate Titanium Oxide on the guide inserts. Some of the newer rod hoods have SS covers as well. Cork handles are used to lower weight & increase grip when hands are wet.

Some recent models incorporates UFI-II (Ultimate Flex Reinforcement) rod tip technology for added durability as well. And i believe all models have SS hook keepers & cork fore & rear grips.
