A Tough Start To A Good Sessions Carp Fishing

With the Carp recently spawned in the lakes I’m fishing I thought I’d drop a little Private lake video of some Early Spring sessions.

I’ll be back to the Ancient 140 Acre Estate Lake in my next video.


This Carp Fishing video is film over 2 sessions, in the first session I find myself back at The Private Lake for a Tough but rewarding early April Session of 3 nights.

The second session is in early May also at The Private Lake where conditions were better and the fishing was even more rewarding but did I catch that first target of a 20lber?

This beautiful intimate little water is around 3 acres at a guess. The bigger Carp have been very elusive to date and I am yet to catch a 20lber. Anglers have been catching them so they’re in there. I’ve caught a good number of fish to 19lb but they have been caught in this year up to high 20’s, as with a lot of lakes there’s the rumoured one or two in this case going much bigger, they’ve been seen but never caught.

The lake is rarely fished so who knows what secrets it truly holds.
I’m here to enjoy the surroundings and nature, catch some nice fish along the way and my aim is to break the 20lb mark. My aim is also to sight and catch the Big One if it’s in there somewhere?

It seems the majority of views to the channel generally come from people aged 35-65 years old , however, everyone is welcome so feel free to give it a try!
