We headed back out to France for a fishing trip with the lads, hoping to make some proper memories and maybe catch a few big carp along the way.

My main target for this session was a 60lb carp, but what happened on this trip was even better than I could have imagined. I managed to catch a 69lb carp, a 50lb carp, and 13 other fish, with over 50 fish caught between us as a group.

This was one of those trips that had everything. Big fish, laughs with the lads, proper moments, and a few captures that none of us will forget anytime soon.

Dave also had a special moment of his own after a tough run over the last few years, which made the trip even better. Sometimes fishing is not just about the fish you catch yourself, it is about seeing your mates hit their own milestones too.

We are back out in August for part 2, and the exciting thing is this venue can do even more fish on its day, so make sure you subscribe and watch out for the next one.
