JOIN ME IN TYING THIS ENCHANTED TUBE FLY. WHY IS IT ENCHANTED? TUBE FLIES HAVE BEEN AROUND PRIMARILY IN EUROPE. I CAME ACROSS THE TUBE FLY ABOUT FOUR YEARS AGO. I WAS QUICK TO DISCOVER TYING TUBE FLIES WAS THE ANSWER TO MY PROBLEM. I WOULD ONLY GET A COUPLE OF FISH ON MY HOOK FLIES BEFORE THEY STARTED TO LOOK "CRUNGY". ALL HOOK FLIES TAKE ON THIS CHARACTERISTIC ONCE THE FISH'S TEETH CHEW ON THEM. USING A TUBE FLY, YOU GET A LOT MORE USE FROM YOUR FLY. THE FLY ITSELF SLIDES UP THE TIPPET AWAY FROM THE FISH'S TEETH. THE ONLY THING LEFT IN THE FISH'S MOUTH IS THE HOOK! WHEN THE HOOK GETS DULL, YOU CAN RE-SHARPEN IT OR THROW IT AWAY AND USE A NEW HOOK WITH THE SAME FLY. WIN-WIN!!
