In this video, we take the bass boat out and actively hunt down big carp using the Garmin LVS34 LiveScope and Lowrance HDS Pro side scan units. Instead of guessing where the fish are, we find them first — sitting in that key 12–14ft depth range right on the edge of the grass beds.
And once we found them… it was GAME ON.

The key pattern:
Depth: 12–14 foot water
Location: Just in front of the grass beds
Accurate boat positioning
Basic but effective rigs
Baits that did the damage:
Mulberry Tiger + Fake Maize
Monster Carp Tiger Nut Pineapple
White and green pop-ups
Proof that you don’t need complicated rigs — you just need to find the fish first.
LiveScope showed the carp stacked in that 4-meter zone, and once we dialed in the drop-off line, the bites kept coming.
