This session was a true day of two halves. The morning started with an incredible trip to a 1000-acre public lake, where I landed three stunning Carp, including an absolute beast at 45lb! Buzzing from the success, I headed to the farm to set up the feeders before heading away for a couple of weeks—only to be hit with a gutting discovery. A beautiful C1 Carp had been taken by a heron or great egret, bringing me right back down to earth.
