Video of Michael Evanko fly fishing Chittenango Creek in Madison County, New York. The Chittenango flows out of swampland in Fenner, New York and heads north, eventually dumping into Oneida Lake. This freestone stream holds a healthy population of wild brown trout. The state of New York also stocks hatchery raised brown trout to alleviate the fishing pressure on the wild fish. The water fished in this video is all accessible through Public Fishing Rights. A portion of the water fished is catch and release only. The water is easily found along Rt.13. This video was shot in early September 2017.
