Steelhead fishing in lower Michigan on the Saint Joseph River and the fisher men were catching nice rainbow trout and we call them Steelhead and we have the Michigan Steelheaders in this Great state we are catching some nice fish in February and the water was cold and there was some fish going up into the air from time to time yes the rainbow trout were chrome in color ya baby chrome Steelhead were being caught om small egg patterns and it was hot dam near the old Dam water was high and dirty so the bright colors were working and the sun was out for the winter weather of 2023 yoy could not ask for a better day for fishing and there was about 8 fish caught in the cold weather it felt like spring time hard to beat the weather and the sun shine on a Chrome Michigan Steelhead in the Town of Berrien Springs near the old dam was way to nice and the egg patterns were hot to trot and there was pizza in town at the Town hall Pizza Hot Dam
