Join me as I catch my first 2 Salmon of this season! Both were hooked beautifully in the mouth, the 1st was a 14lb female Chinook and the 2nd was a 19.5lb male Chinook. I keep my legal catches thus why I cut shortly after landing them. I always release foul hooked fish as it is against DEC regulations to keep them. I reread regulations each year to be 100% I am following them for each body of water I fish as well as the fish I am fishing for (which so far is always NYS).
