This is my video about Hooklink materials, and how 3 different fishermen I know with decades of experience have told me about using mainline monofilament to make rigs, which made me question why do we need all these expensive hooklink materials?

After working out the price per meter, whilst I believe these hook link materials can server a purpose (supple braid for pva bags)/(fluoro for ronnies), the majority of people do not need to buy these expensive hooklinks for the majority of their fishing, and I myself will not be.
