I finally decided to get out there and shoot a catfish fishing video. I love to eat catfish, but my immediate area isn't well known for its catfish numbers. Today was different, as I fished a local pond that was once a great fishery but was stripped and destroyed in the name of saving a native endangered minnow, then stocked with catfish to support a children's catfish rodeo. Whether I agree with it or not, I was able to collect a few catfish of good frying size.

I also ran a bait trial pitting Uncle Steve's favorite Night Crawlers against chicken blood flavored dough balls. The dough balls win. Take that.

Let's be honest though....I just wanted to make a catfish cooking video lol. That will be coming up Monday!
