i was able to get out for a couple of hours back out to Round Valley Reservoir. I wanted to try o catch my first Lake Trout but sine the bait shop was closed I had to settle for fishing for Rainbow Trout. Didn't expect much as this was a trip to get out of the house for a bit. It ended up being a tough long cold day but I got rewarded with one nice Rainbow. Not exactly how I wanted to end the year but it was far better than doing nothing at all. Overall 2016 was pretty good to me and I hope it was good for you. I look forward to 2017 and the adventures that await.
