I had dropped off all my fishing kit at Archipelago Carp Fishing with the plan of flying out for two weeks. The first week would be spent helping Andy, the owner to net the Blue Lagoon and check the stock of the stock pond.

After landing at Limoges, I had to wait a few hours for Paul to land then Andy collected us for the short drive to the lakes. We stopped at the supermarket where Andy informed us that we only needed munchies as they would supply breakfast and dinner.

After a walk round the lakes we setup 4 rods and pub chucked them into the Blue Lagoon, placing the bedchairs in the anglers hut for the night. Monday morning we spent setting the pumps up, after which Paul and I set base camp up in swims 6,7 and 8.

We both had high expectation of bagging a few fish. The rest of Monday and all of Tuesday and Wednesday was spent listening to the drone of the pumps and refilling with fuel as needed. The air tempters crashed and waters tempters dropped by over 5 degrees during this time.

Thursday was a great day and I had loads of fun. After dropping the water level on the Blue Lagoon so we could now walk across the whole lake, it was time to pull the nets and crop out the best c2-c3 carp for bringing on in the stock pond. We also stocked a nice 20 pounder common into the main lake, Watch how Paul got to name it!!!!

Friday and Saturday I left Paul at base camp and helped Andy with checking the stock of the stock pond, we removed a couple of nice Perch and put them in the main lake. Another great day, tiring but loads of fun.

Sunday was fly day for Paul, We dropped him off at the airport in the afternoon. after saying our goodbyes it was the short drive back where I still had another week to try and bank a big un but that's the next episode :)

MASSIVE thanks to Andy & Ellen for the food, drink, bait etc. etc.
It was first class as always.
