Edges in Carp Match Fishing with Garedd Gardner

Top carp match angler and fellow Nutrabaits team member Garedd Gardner talks us through one of his successful tactics used in recent matches to great effect to get carp competing for food on your spots. Getting as much attraction into your swim as possible and keeping carp grubbing around in search of food is essential as opposed to putting lots of bait in your swim and potentially pushing carp out once they have had a feed. On limited time you don’t have the luxury to wait for them to return for another feed so keeping them on your spots longer will hopefully put the percentages of carp picking up your hook baits in your favour.

Carp match fishing has become more popular than ever before over the last 10 years. Just like coarse match fishing, creating consistent edges is the key to long term success across many waters fished during the year. Bait and how to apply is essential and for this reason our Soluble range has been developed to give anglers an edge for both match fishing and targeting big carp in pressured waters.
Solubles having been around for many years and been a big favourite in many forms in match carp fishing for over 20 years across Europe.
Getting a soluble range to match our ranges in both quality, attractor package and still giving a break down time of 2 to 6 hours based on water temperature and depth you are fishing took over 2 and a half years and 100’s of hours of development to perfect.
