Top carp match angler and fellow Nutrabaits team member Garedd Gardner talks us through one of his successful tactics used in recent matches to great effect to get carp competing for food on your spots. Getting as much attraction into your swim as possible and keeping carp grubbing around in search of food is essential as opposed to putting lots of bait in your swim and potentially pushing carp out once they have had a feed. On limited time you don’t have the luxury to wait for them to return for another feed so keeping them on your spots longer will hopefully put the percentages of carp picking up your hook baits in your favour.
