Join us in the first part of our 4 week Shetland and Orkney road trip. We have made it north and spend our first few days on Shetland mainland and have our very first up-close puffin experience. We venture out to find the hidden beaches and rich history of this beautiful part of the world. Who knew Shetland has some of the most stunning beaches in the world...and they are deserted!

We are Richard and Jackie and we live in the UK. We retired from teaching at the age of 51 in the summer of 2022. Our plans for early requirement include relocating to the Yorkshire Dales, developing our forever home and travelling the UK, Europe and eventually the world in our VW campervan Nelson.
