My local river holds various species of fish and I believe I've caught them all. But there is that one that's been a real challenge and that is the elusive Carp.
I have fished for them in the past on lakes and had great success, on the other hand, wild Carp have been fooling me for few years.
I was given some advice from a mate, to bait up the spot everyday. In that way, it will help to build memory for these fish and make them to return.
