Carp Fishing – Early Morning Wandering
It’s great getting out and wandering the bank really early in the morning, and it’s even better when you get to go carp fishing!
Enjoy this little film of the first session of 2016 that I managed to fish the local canal, with glorious early morning sunshine.
The tactics for the session was to move regularly, even though I was only fishing for a couple of hours in the morning, and to cast solid PVA bags to likely looking spots.
The canal can be tough at the best of times, and late February with no pre-baiting I was really pushing my luck, but did it work out for me?!
Some of the tackle used in the video was:
- Fox Warrior S 3lb rod
- Wychwood Riot 75 Big Pit reel
- Delkim bite alarm
Carp fishing can be a funny business at the best of times, but winter carping can be really tough especially on a day session so it’s always a surprise how the day is going to unfold, and you have to call on all your carp tactics to get the best out of your fishing session.
The second of a new series of carp fishing, and just general angling videos to be filmed and uploaded through the changing seasons and fortunes of an everyday angler.
