After an abortive preceding week when Broadwater froze, the Sparsholt team arrived once more to net and allow an assessment of the initial survey. But things didn't go to plan and after a fruitless first netting around peg 14, the decision was made to re-lay the 220m net out from the 'point'. Although the reasoning was sound, things still didn't produce the expected haul, as had the 28th. But valuable info was nevertheless gained for the future of Broadwater Lake and its stocks.
