Pat Weiss has been euro nymphing for trout for many, many years. As an avid competition angler and constant innovator, he was fishing and testing euro nymphing methods before they were popular in the US—and before the materials were available. As part of that, Pat's been tying, testing, modifying and thinking about euro nymph patterns for years. And contrary to what you might think, during that time he went through a process of reducing and simplifying to use only what's absolutely essential.
