Winter Steelheading has been something that Jay and I look forward to every year. It's usually when we see some of the biggest Hens and Bucks make their ways into the river systems to stage for a spring spawn.

Ice fishing aside, this is what keeps us sane until trout opener in the spring. We've been out when it was below -10'C and short of frozen fingers and toes, we've always had big smiles, and sometimes bigger fish tales to tell.
