HOW TO CATCH WINTER CARP USING MAGGOTS. The rivers are in flood and so I decide to drop onto a local club lake to fish for carp. I use solid PVA bags that contain maggots fished over an area baited with a mix of pellets, krill powder and sweetcorn. I try to cover how to locate carp in winter, spodding, carp fishing rigs, the blow back rig, fishing accurately and how I use solid bags.
