After finishing 2nd both in 2015 and 2016, Team South Africa wanted to prove that they too can hold the number one spot on the Specimen Carp Fishing World Stage. Divan & Johan Potgieter managed to be on top for a few days but at the end SA could only secure 2 Zone winners and overall 5th place. As a Country we caught 25% of all fish of the tournament.
