I will try to add underwater macro footage (in 4K resolution) of all major species of aquatic insects important to us, Flyfishers. List https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLPUgXZ4-DR2fyEA6HPwpMQSF-rhFRSdXq
„Scud“,“ Shrimp“, „Gammarus“ Most common and important of Scuds species is no doubt Gammarus Pulex.

These are complicated creatures, they have gills and fourteen legs on their thorax and twelve appendages on their abdomen which help with the circulation of water over the gills and swimming. Gammarus hatch fully developed from eggs and are able to reproduce rapidly. Adults can produce two generations in a year.

It's a widely available and important food source for fish, both in stilwaters and rivers. Abundant in tailwaters.
