Fishing on Lk. Michigan out of the Port of Manistique, MI July 20. 2016. Manistique is located in MI's UP.
Target species were Kings (Chinook salmon) and Steelhead. There was a lot of immature alewives for the fish to feed on.
Once we caught onto the program of all spoons and a faster 2.7 to 3.0 mph on long leads off the riggers ( 50-70') were were into fish. We ended up with a nice box of fish all caught on my patent pending Salmon Buster™ spoons!
