My family on my mother’s side is all from Regensburg, a beautiful city in Bayern (aka Bavaria). I visit whenever I can and I always have a great time! Regensburg has the highest bars per capita in Germany (or so I have been told) and it is always fun bar hopping and exploring the city at night. I didn’t film that part, but let me know if you want any recommendations for places to go!

One of my favorite things to do in Regensburg is just people watching while sitting in one of the many beautiful plazas enjoying some ice cream or Italian food. This city has such a warm an inviting outdoor culture, as many people sit outside by one of the three rivers that intersect the town. We went swimming in one of them and the water is perfect (not too cold). Regensburg also has a few very nice outdoor public pools/bath houses that are great any time of year. :)
