Broken Britain -Part Three

Im not normally politically minded but like everyone in the country, I was tired of the Brexit Saga. Im pretty sure it could be the next new soap to hit our tv screens considering the drama and scandal it has caused!

The Brexit vote was like opening a can of worms as politicians wriggled and connived against each other. Instead of trying to sort the mess as a united parliament - their own egos and agendas become apparent and were laid bare for the country to see.
As it dragged on and on, it caused a storm of controversy that divided a nation.

Democracy was threatened and our view of Politicians has possibly changed forever.
So,I decided to paint something to reflect my own feelings on canvas.
I started the painting just before the deadline of October 31st 2019 was set.

I will explain a little of what is happening;

It depicts a game of chess being played inside the House of Commons in Parliament.
On one side is the EU leaders and anti-Brexit people- the other side is Boris and the pro-Brexit people.

A destructive storm has wreaked havoc (the storm represents the storm Brexit has caused). London’s buildings have collapsed and the House of Commons is in tatters.
An earthquake has created a crater that divides the board (and the country).
Big-Ben has fallen- its time stuck on 10.31pm- the Brexit deadline for October 31st.
Boris sits, defeated in checkmate, his hands tied up in red tape and attacked aggressively on all sides by various members of parliament and the EU (In suits).
The lion-represents the British people -angry and roaring aloud whilst held captive in a cage. Bercow swings from debris and holds the key to unlock the cage and set the British people free.

Corbyn is the wolf sitting above the lions cage.
Vultures fly above with a torn banner of democracy.
John Major represents the Grim-Reaper as he stands behind the Supreme Court as they sit in judgement- like the 3 wise monkeys- they see-hear and speak no-evil?

The illuminati pyramid is in front of them (there will be scales on its tip representing the balance of power-between rich and poor).
Gina miller and Phillip Hammond will be watching on as vultures.
Juncker, (will be the standing bear), Merkle (will be the lizard, slyly watching on), Macron (will be the skulking hyena).
The two weak lambs scurrying away will be Rees Moggs and Michael Gove
Nigel Farage will be the brave British Bulldog trying to protect everyone from the onslaught.
The rest I will leave to your own imagination and interpretation.
