This is just a mash up of some of the highlights from my 2016 Spring Steelhead trip up on the Muskegon River in northern Michigan.
What a trip, 70 degrees in April! We caught and released over 20 fish in 2 days. We used a variety of egg pattern colors over gravel and along shoreline overhangs.
