Late January ice fishing for Perch, Sunfish, and Pike. It was a mild, rainy winter day, Neal and I got out for our first time fishing together in 2020. The plan was to set up the tent, a couple tip ups, and have a fun day out on the ice to introduce Neal to ice fishing.

I used my Deeper Chirp+ for the first time and it worked great! Did everything I expected it to and the battery lasted as long as promised.

I ended up seeing a big mark on the sonar, after playing the fish for a short time, it bit and turned out to be a gigantic Pumpkin Seed Sunfish. A fun successful day out on the ice.
