Most of my early days carp fishing in the 1980's consisted of short sessions where you would arrive at dawn and be home for lunch.
Knowledge built up always came in handy and often i would know just where to be.
This little water out on the edge of the fens is one such place where my short session approach always did well and i have only ever done one over-night session on it since i first started to fish it 2002.
