The Costes is a five-star hotel, bar and lounge which opened in 1991 under the direction of designer Jacques Garcia. It is the creation of Jean-Louis and Gilbert Costes brothers. These two brothers own multiple hot spots in Paris, including L'Avenue. Although Paris is the center of new hot spots, Hôtel Costes keeps staying at the top of the layer. Situated right in the heart of the Rue Saint Honoré fashion district, the Costes is frequented by wealthy jet-setters and those who want to get a glimpse of the elite lifestyle. This is also the meeting place for Parisian women and men and French movie stars. Here we have Anthony Delon 2:12, 3:25, 4:46, the son of legendary French actor Alain Delon, and Benoît Poelvoorde, the actor in Asterix. As the fashion capital of the world, models, designers and fashion editors continually, and gracefully, descend upon Costes. The baroque patio, with its elegant decor, terracota walls and sculptures is a feast for the eyes. I personally love this place...I feel instantly special just being here, sitting among the glamorous people. So when in Paris, don’t miss out on this great place, this is the perfect spot to linger and soak up the Parisian Chic atmosphere.
