DEEP IN THE HIGH UINTAS BACKPACKING UTAH WILDERNESS ALONE FOR FOUR DAYS. A HIKE AND CAMP IN THE PRIMITIVE AREA AT ITS BEST! I have recorded over a years time in the High Uintas Wilderness. To hike and camp alone was not normal for me but, to go solo now, is trending towards normal. I did this backcountry adventure in August of 2019. I began this backpacking Utah trip in the Ashley National Forest at the Grandview Trailhead. I trekked up to Hades Pass, as I crested I captured in 4K, some of the best sights these remote mountains have to offer. I continued on, descending to Grandaddy Lake, the largest natural lake of this primitive area, definitely worthy of a photograph or two. I carried on through serene forest and past pristine lakes on my way to my mountain camp. There, I caught brook trout and cooked one over the campfire and savored my trout dinner. The final day of this hiking alone and camping alone 4K documentary, I trekked past Palisade Lake, taking more video. Then, while raining off and on, I pressed on with my hike past Britton Meadows, a High Uintas Wilderness elk nirvana. I kept on, through the primitive area passing Besty and Grandaddy lakes again and then hoofing it out to the Grandview Trailhead. This High Uintas backpacking trip was as fulfilling as ever. I am glad to bring you this 4K documentary, so I could share with you a glimpse of what I experienced in this peaceful remote area!
