The Skeena River, which spans a mighty 570 km, holds some of the largest Salmon populations found anywhere in the world. Although this river does provide anglers with the option to target the five species of Pacific Salmon, this water has made a name for itself due to the colossal Steelhead which can also be found in this river.

This river consistently holds fish between 8 - 20lbs with each season also producing fish to over 20 and even 30lbs. An interesting fact from the Skeena is that marine biologists have caught Steelhead to over 44lb in their test fishery.
