I woke up at 4:30 and made about a 3 hour drive to hit a creek where I saw some GIANT brown trout on my last visit. All stars alligned for the big ones to come out and play, as a giant front brought 20 degree temps, strong winds and sleet/snow. I had to be sneaky and hit a lot of tight spaces under banks and beneath trees, but it paid off in the end. I didn't catch my personal best brown but several rainbows made for a delicious dinner!!
