I went to do some Chum Salmon Fishing on the Vedder river this past week in Chilliwack BC. There was a lot of fish coming through and the Chum Salmon are huge! I fished a float setup up with a crazy worm but later learned the Chum were feeding on orange wool. We tried to catch any Sprong, Coho or left over Pink Salmon but had no luck although we managed a couple of huge Chum Salmon. The Vedder River can be a busy spot for angler, so we had a challnge getting a good river fishing casting spot.
