My April 2020 video blog filmed at Beausoleil. I go through my whole fishing approach for the spring with the mono D rig, barbless hooks and a new running lead system.

In this special spring carp fishing session, I’m fishing with an old school rig, the mono D rig. It’s a classic example of a simple rig that’s easy to tie but one I’ve never fished with at Beausoleil. I’m also trying out barbless hooks and develop a new running lead system that gives me bite indication with swivel leads.
