If you live in England then you are no doubt use to carp fishing in the rain. And walking in the rain, and playing sport in the rain, and cycling in the rain, and gardening in the rain....
Here in Australia we run around with our underwear giving us wedgies and jump in puddles when it is raining, and we do that we into out 40s and 50s too.
Seriously folks, I decided to go carp fishing today. We are in the middle of one of our worst droughts on record, and I managed to go fishing in the rain.
I am so use to it being dry that I became complacent and didn't even bother looking at the weather map! I just expected it to be dry.
I suppose if you are going to go fishing in the rain, it might as well be carp fishing because most other species do not bite well in these types of conditions. At least carp are always on for a chew!
