Carp fishing session in early season: Matt’s tips and winter carp rigs and how to catch specimen carp in this stunning 4 acre estate lake.

During a great late winter/early spring session at Beausoleil, Matt banked some beautiful mirrors fishing small bait boat traps of chopped/whole boilie sticks and pellet. In this video, Matt shares some tips and insights on how to catch carp at this time of year and shows the carp rigs he uses to trick these wily specimens. All fish were taken on homemade glugged popups and bottom baits in Nutty Banoffee and Shrimp & Crayfish flavours. Rigs shown: Popup slip-D rig, double bottom bait slip-D rig, wafter slip-D rig.
