The Winton Wetlands are finally spilling over. The carp are lined up in the old Mokoan Channel below the spillway at the wetlands. It is carp galore down there.
I went down there late today to try and catch a few of these carp, however carp are an incredibly strong fighting fish.
I was only using 4lb line which is no match for these huge carp. I think I would have landed more carp except the concrete pillars were giving me a lot of grief.
Carp central.....a pest species that provided sooooo much fun!
