August 3rd, 2017 -- For my 94th fishing session of this year, I decided to start a new "series" on the Channel: "D40#er." In it, I will fish different watersheds in Philadelphia, with the unique goal of catching a 40lbs+ Common Carp (Cyprinus carpio)! The series will also have an educational approach. Thus, I will be offering different tips and hints in each episode, so that you guys can go out there and catch some giants around your local watersheds as well!

The quest for a 40lbs+ Carp in Philadelphia is arduous, folks. Many of my respect Carp anglers have been attempting it for years, without much success! Only a few selected (and lucky) anglers have broken such barrier around these parts. Thus, I am taking this gig seriously!

I don't know how long it will take. Heck...I don't even know if I will accomplish it in the end. But hey...feel free to join me on this quest! Let's have some fun, eh? Hah.
