June 11, 2016, first day of trout season float trip with my family on the upper Kenai river in Alaska. Targeted rainbow trout and dolly vardens. Caught most of them on flesh flies with a couple on crankbaits. Everyone was able to catch a few. Fished with 5 Dogs Fishing our of Cooper Landing.
